To help Stacey in her campaign, come to the Atrium at First Hattiesburg this weekend. Don’t miss Club FX on October 6th at 7pm and October 7th at 9:30am and 11:00am in the Student Auditorium.

Weekend of recipes
Had a great Labor Day weekend with my mom and my Aunt Cheryl. We knocked out several recipes that weekend, which worked out well since it was a rainy weekend. Let’s see, there was Key Lime Pie, Chicken Pasta, Chicken & Potatoes in the crock pot, a Blueberry breakfast pastry, and my personal favorite, Pioneer Woman’s perfect iced coffee.
First up, Key Lime Pie

I think Mom added some orange in there at some point Chicken and potatoes in the crock pot. Yum!
Pioneer woman’s Perfect Iced Coffee. Amazing. Saw Hope Gustafson’s post about her experience with the delicious coffee. I agree with Hope that the straining part of the recipe is a little tedious, but well worth it!! The coffee has to steep 8 hours, then you have to strain the coffee grains. After that, the recipe is pretty easy. For more details on the recipe, check out Pioneer Woman’s post. :)
